      Pros

      I have worked at Marklund for over four years. It has been nothing but a positive experience for me personally and professionally. Marklund does an exemplary job at making certain that the residents are well cared for, loved and provided with a multitude of life experiences on a daily basis. Compassion and caring is the norm.

      Cons

      As with all healthcare facilities, we are struggling with staff shortages, which HR is working on.

      What truly sets this school apart is its heart. The dedication, patience, and creativity of the staff make every day purposeful. Seeing a student achieve a new skill or express joy in a way they couldn’t before reminds you why this work matters so much.

      Cons

      The work can be demanding at times, but it’s deeply fulfilling.
