Pros

Bonus, profit sharing, health insurance and net some lifelong friends

Cons

6 day work week. 50 hours is an average week. Start at 6am/7am to 5pm. No help at all. Not allowed to schedule as much help like other departments. Dairy is one the worst departments in the company. For example the grocery dept work 5 days and gets weekends off. Maybe work 1 or 2 pallet a day. Dairy does about 6-10 pallets a day. Dept is not respected. Tops out being dept manager. While grocery can move up all the way to store manager. Most supervision are lazy and often no help. Few to the exception. We have no help is the most common phrase used. Go to the grocery dept if you want work at MB

Pros

Profit sharing and bonus checks were generous. The owners of the company took the time to know who you were and always said a hello by name when they came in to do their store visits

Cons

The store management swept bad behavior under the rug that should have gotten certain other managers fired. Instead they would just transfer them to another store and keep it all hush hush. The culture is friendly but only if you fit into their ideas of what is normal. If not, you will have a hard time fitting in.
