Pros

You're able to work on developing the collection by making samples. You'll get to work on the actual garments for the collections.

Cons

Legally, they take advantage of the interns by working them long hours and even having them come in on the weekends prior to show because they dont have enough hired help.

Pros

The design team is incredibly talented and deeply committed to craftsmanship, offering a rare opportunity to witness luxury fashion at the highest level. Hands-on experience with couture-level fabrics, embroidery, and patternmaking. Exposure to all stages of the design process, from concept sketching to final runway presentation. The brand aesthetic is iconic – working here strengthens your portfolio and professional credibility. Opportunities to contribute to real projects if you show initiative and skill.

Cons

Long hours are expected, especially around Fashion Week, with minimal compensation for interns. The pace is intense and expectations are high, which can be overwhelming without strong self-management skills. Not a lot of formal training; you’re expected to learn quickly on the job. Communication can sometimes be top-down and fast-paced, leaving little room for feedback.
