Pros

I've worked with Mann Eye for over 8 years. The executive administration really takes the time to listen to what people want and are focussed on patient experience. The company is consistently growing and it translates to opportunities for upward growth for staff. They offer consistent training, great benefits, and the teams you work with are made up of caring individuals who want to be here.

Cons

No cons, it's a great place and I love working here!

Pros

Mann Eye Institute is a wonderful place to work! The team is supportive, the environment is positive, and leadership truly cares about their employees. My manager is fantastic and always encourages growth and communication. The work-life balance and flexibility here are excellent — it’s a great place to build a long-term career in eye care.

Cons

Difficult to advance to higher positions

Pros

The doctors are generally very friendly and easy to work with. Decent PTO compared to some other places. OK benefits. Company tries to have fun. Some years you get a good Christmas bonus. Employees can get LASIK in April very discounted and friends/family can get it at a discounted price, You can learn a lot, they pay for certifications. Free lunches often due to Sales reps or paid by Mann Eye for meetings. Lots of different roles for learning. Pretty relaxed about you leaving work for a doctor's or dentist appointment. And management tries to get you your requested time off. Good work culture, you can complain about some stuff without worrying someone will snitch to a lead or manager. Free eye exams for you and immediate family (so long as they live with you) good deals on purchasing glasses and contacts.

Cons

One doctor should retire and is very difficult to work with. Turn over is high, either from hiring students who eventually leave to go to medical school or people finding better jobs else where. Raises are not the best, so its better to just do the bare minimum after 2 years working. Burn out is high amongst employees. Becoming Certified is kind of useless here, just get it and go somewhere else and use it to advocate for higher pay. While there a lot of different roles, you sometimes have to fight to get into a desired role even when they're the ones who approach you about the role. PTO may be decent but there are no sick days and you are not allowed to take unpaid time off.
