Completely unprofessional company which treats its employees as bonded labour - Anonymous Manikaran Power Employee Review

Pros

You might get a good salary if you negotiate well but they will try every bit possible to deduct ur salary for one or the other reason.. if u r a minute late half day salary is gone. If u leave a minute early again half day salary is gone. U have to punch-in 9.5 hours for 6 days a week which they wont tell u until u have joined.

Cons

There's ia no upside working here. No learning here. Management is not at all employee friendly. For every leave of yours you will have to bargain with the management whether its is a sick leave or an emergency leave... it doesn't matter. You have to bargain for your own hard earned leave. Very negative place. Notice period is 3months for experienced ppl. On resignation they will not accept ur resignation and then even if you serve the 3months notice period they will say that we had not accepted ur resignation. Only way out is to plead with them.. beg to them and then they might just let you go. Negotiation of the notice period is not possible. And they wil keep sending you notices for not serving notice period. Completely insane place to work.

Pros

I had joined on 1st June 2026. And it has been a week since I have been receiving training. The training period so far has been exciting and a big oppurtunity to learn something which is completely new. The training has been a source of varied knowledge about the power sector and market mechanisms. Looking forward to learn more.

Cons

Nothing as such, feeling is good.
