The work is interesting and challenging, with a lot of variety. Pay is fair for the area.
Cons
It is a family-owned and operated company, and the work environment can be toxic. When you are salaried, you are expected to make their company your life. There is poor direction on projects, and you are constantly moved from project to project without warning or guidance. Working at Makel is pointlessly stressful.
