Pros

Company has a fairly good approach to addressing a program, particularly with Private Equity. There are formats to review and utilize, only if upper management follows the approach and not change it for every engagement.

Cons

Each project is approached differently from a framework standpoint. Given each project is different, the approach is often dependent on the individual leading the project. The Leader of the field does not manage to a constant program, thus not always optimizing the clients spend. Various methods in preparing for the engagement often have incorrect assumptions for the operations team to manage to. Examples are numerous.
