Pros
Colleagues are friendly and helpful
Cons
In Sailauf, - Low level managers use the work of their employees in patents without crediting them and subsequently use it for their own career's sake. - Especially for foreign engineers, there is no advancement possible. You are expected to work in your area without saying a word for how long you are able to tolerate it. - Talents are not valued, Your work will be patented by others. - The level of engineering is below average. - Since Sailauf is a small place, most managers grew up together, studied together, etc. This creates a toxic culture of communitarianism where you only try to help those who can benefit you. Outsiders are left away from this game. - Magna does not do innovation nor does it fund its own development suffficiently. Magna does at best product development but all innovation activities are left to startup companies. The communication is always complicated due to conflicting interests. - Sailauf managers do not know how to properly plan a project. Engineers are not listened to when they raise risks and instead of that are called "negative people". - Sailauf managers are only interested in covering their a**es instead of helping the place getting better and less toxic. Just avoid it at all cost.
