Cons
Everything. Toxic work environment, cofounders are syncophantic. If you’re not in the inner circle(you’re not) you are at risk of layoffs. If you are not a constant yes man, how high should I jump man, keep my head down and never give input person, you are at risk here. Random people will “leave” weekly with no clear reason. And yes you will be expected to take on their work with no pay increase. Management will tell you that you are doing great one day and lay you off without warning the next. Provide zero reason, zero compassion. Completely cut throat culture disguised as a “fun startup vibe. The good reviews are from founders and HR to cover up things. I didn’t believe the negative reviews when I started years ago, don’t make my mistake!!!! I’ve never felt more bamboozled by a company than I did with Magic Spoon. Avoid this company at all costs. You can find something better
