Pros
Opportunity to travel and get involved in with varied work. People that I work with are generally wonderful. There is a genuine intent to improve.
Cons
Senior Management work in functional silos and do not communicate with each other. Communication from the top-down is non-existent Company needs to stop growing to consolidate. It's always about winning the next contract, but we're not adequately staffing effective servicing and support of that contract. There are a lot of people out of their depth in relatively senior positions. Founder stepped aside to be replaced as CEO, but still interferes on a regular basis. After being introduced, the new CEO has disappeared off the face of the earth - I don't think we've had one communication from since the announcement of his appointment. Focus on 'lean' staffing model, post-acquisition, when people couldn't cope with the workload to begin pre-acquisition, is ridiculous and short-sighted.
