Pros
- Management in amazing. Very motivating,, positive and empathetic. - Company culture is great. All staff members are very lovely and friendly. - Dog friendly office. - Hybrid work model (office and work from home). - Monthly business review actually adds value. - Recording of all processes and learning material in 1 central location for all employees to access.
Cons
- Terrible salary. Start up culture creates the expectation for staff to work hard, go above and beyond but for terrible pay. - Understaffed in some departments and needs are not listened to until the situation is dire. - Some procedures are not well planned from the onset and come back to haunt everyone. Then management expects junior staff members to come up with a solution or brand new process together with minimal support. - Roles are not well defined. Big projects that I believe should be the responsibility of senior management or line managers are palmed off to junior staff members and pitched as an opportunity to “prove themselves”.
