Pros

Business is growing exponentially Based in the heart of Soho Office aesthetic Friday lunch delivery Impressive range in customer base

Cons

- Pay is despicable, salary adjustments are insulting - No advancement opportunities - Lack of positive reinforcement - You’re either fired at the end of the workday, find your job posted online, or some other sneaky disrespectful strategy is used to push you out - Firing seems like it’s become a sport over the past few years - Leadership and organizational structure, non-existent - Communication and transparency, also non-existent - Absolutely no focus on employee experience, upper management doesn’t value employees leading to the company hemorrhaging talent - Tech that was implemented doesn’t suit the company and has made the company run inefficiently, creating more problems than solutions for teams that already run lean - (Some) new hires aren't qualified, likely due to salary offering - Slow in hiring key people + roles and responsibilities are not defined, employees are overworked to compensate for positions that should be filled - Negative atmosphere, pointing fingers and exaggerating co-workers mistakes, lack of professionalism from upper management has killed morale, everyone is in fear of losing their job - Introverted work environment, teams are not connected, employees collaborate when necessary, there’s hierarchy with departments

Pros

Management creates a collaborative work environment by offering daily food service, weekly luncheons/happy hours and extravagant company outings. Product sells itself - founders are involved in the creative process and the daily functions of the company.

Cons

Management creates the illusion of a collaborative work environment by offering limited daily food service, pretentious weekly luncheons/happy hours and extravagant unnecessary company outings. Product sells itself because its distribution is limited and controlled - founders are too involved in the creative process which stifle lead times of the product cycle and decision making. They don't realize the daily functions of the company run inefficiently because of their heavy handed involvement. Firings and layoffs are frequent and there is no job security at any level. There is no job training or learning curve and the expectations to be immediately effective are wholly unrealistic because management is not open to ideas other than their own.
