Pros
The Company pays very well. compared to other transportation companies. They make sure you have time off as well, as long as you are doing your Job. They do expect you to work for the pay, at first you will put in a lot of hours but if you do your job right, that will slow down after a few monthes. The company is also very accomadating to emergencies, deaths in the family, medical problems and other things that you need to do. You cant get by at MV in management if you are a slacker, they will find out and are not afraid to fire people that are not productive. This is a good thing though for the real hard workers. It makes it so you are not surrounded by idiots.
Cons
Benifits are not the greatest, the medical insurance is the bare minimum and financially, it is pretty expensive if you have a family. The 401k is poor, there is almost no company contribution, and the open enrollment is a pain if you dont sign up when you are first hired. A lot of changes in the company over the last couple of years has made a lot of employees sceptical. Also, it changes the senior management and you have to deal with getting to know a new person ehrn the previous manager is still with the company. The mileage reimbursment is also very low for the entire world, even though it was just raised a few cents, it is still way lower then the Federal reccomended rate of mileage reimbursment.
