Great if you want to learn something new everyday and are hands-on, you never get bored.

Terrible job if you are just there to get paid. Few notable benefits as intern.

Leadership takes safety seriously. Proper care was always taken to adequately train employees on proper methods and procedures. They were quick to scold anyone who violated these procedures. I always found they were paying attention to the work we were doing and were quick to provide insights. Your coworkers will be the standard salt of the earth types. Listen to them. Trust them. Get along with them. they are the people that will be there to save your life or teach you a new way of doing something that makes everything a whole lot easier.

It's hot. You get dirty. The pay is not great, but over time can overcome this. Mandatory overtime is terrible, but a necessary part of factory life. This is not an SJW paradise, you will hear things you don't want to hear. Management will respond to inappropriate behaviors, but language reinforcing homophobic and misogynistic attitudes are a way of life here.
