Pros

The only pro to working for MR Direct was a basic flexibility with time...which I did not require.

Cons

-Poor management permeates everything at MR Direct. Managers have no clue what is going on at any given time. The operation at MR Direct is Mickey Mouse at best. -Managers would rather socialize than do any work. -Socializing is stressed yet they WILL find social reasons to terminate employees. -Common decency is missing from MR Direct and a basic lack of respect. -I applied to an internal position and 3 months later never heard a word regarding the scheduling of an interview or the status of my application. Positions RARELY open up with MR Direct. If you are looking long term just do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. -Be prepared to create processes and guess a lot because there is no on-boarding process and nothing in place to help new employees learn the ropes. Information is scattered and incorrect. -Rules change on a daily basis regarding practically everything. Management here is like a valley girl attempting to juggle an advanced economics class. -I hope you like cliques and revolving doors. -HR Policies are rather ridiculous. The CEO of the company stated we had flex time. What they really mean is that if you need the time off that's fine but after four days we are taking your vacation time away from you. -Knee jerk reactions are the flavor of the day. Be prepared to have managers knee jerking regarding the trivial. -Pay rates are well below industry standards.

Pros

You get the feeling that management cares for the employees. They've added in some perks, as well as some great benefits. They like to promote from within and like to get feedback from employees about how to make the job better. You can tell the company is actively trying to keep the employees engaged, with several social activities and volunteer opportunities.

Cons

It's definitely a fast paced environment. You're expected to always be working. Sometimes the work levels are stressful, as with any job.

Pros

Get to chose your break between 30-60 minutes

Cons

Hired for customer service but half the job is essentially telemarketing.
