Pros

Work from home, your coworkers will appreciate your hard work, free junk food (but I don't think of this as a pro since we already sit behind a desk for 8+ hours, free soda and chips is probably not the best solution. Games and contests to keep the slow days interesting.

Cons

I was only employed with MNG for two years. That being said when I started it was a completely different company "Nexgen" merged with MetaPharm and became MetaNexgen, bought by an investment agency and changed to MNG Direct...with 3 large layoffs (that I know of) happening in that time. Job changes, jobs removed and jobs brought back after some time had passed from one lay off. With all the changes at MNG in such a short amount of time I think you see why they have very mixed reviews. Your experience will differ from department to department and depending what department you are in will determine how you are treated. You will do mediocre work for average or below average pay, everything will be a rush, you will work overtime and be asked to do things on your days off, favoritism and sexism will be a big part of your day in meetings and interaction with management.

Pros

I've been with MNG for many years. I rated the company a 5. Not because we're perfect, but because we're doing everything right to strive for perfection. We have a new CEO (Stephen Ross) who is heavily involved in our day-to-day business. He's hired new talent - people who are truly industry experts and tirelessly work towards improving process, driving INNOVATION and maintaining a strong client focus. This is truly is a fun place to work, where your efforts are appreciated and recognized.

Cons

With new leadership comes turnover and that's always unfortunate. However, we've filled vacancies with talented new people and we're continuing to hire. I'm truly excited for the growth and success of this organization!

Pros

I am fortunate to work with a lot of people are dedicated and who take their work seriously. I can balance my work and personal commitments for the majority of the time due good organization and support of my manager and team. The work I do is very specialized and there are peak times of the year based on projects, but I am supported to do the job they hired me to do. I work pretty standard days, and extra time when needed - which I do sometimes on my own accord too. I can see the company is growing and enjoy being able to contribute my part.

Cons

I've worked for other companies and have had both good and bad experiences. Not everyone who sits around me has experienced what I have, and they might decide their job is just not a fit for them and that's okay. We are growing and there are growing pains to be expected. No company has it 100% figured out, but we are definitely moving in the right direction.
