Pros
There are a lot of really great employees and some awful ones but I’ll get onto the later. Once you find a hidden gem within the management team you’re lucky. Personally my pay was very good and we DID get good bonuses. No expense was spared for summer and Christmas parties and we often had office catch ups which were quite good. Speaking for myself there were training opportunities which is good.
Cons
Sadly management lets the company down. And this was happening way before Sweco. No one stands up to the very senior management, they claim to take everyone’s feedback and opinions in but honestly they do not at all. It’s very hard to highlight any issues about management to HR because they are stuck in the middle. Too many managers do not know what they are doing, are certainly not qualified for the job, crumble and lie sadly. Once Sweco came on the scene the words business as usual was thrown around an awful lot. But it wasn’t, AT ALL. Everyone I met from Sweco has been polite and understanding but clearly have been blinded by MLM’s senior management. Finally they do not practice what they preach. The visions and values certainly aren’t met at all.
