Pros
short working hours - rest of time is for prepping lessons and materials which can be done at home. good culture - management listens to teachers and there is a collaborative approach. teachers and TAs generally get along well, apart from the rare arguments. inclusive - all races, religions, personalities work together. fulfilling to work the our students and make a difference in their lives.
Cons
lack manpower, some classes only have 1 teacher to 10-12 students. pay is quite mid-low, as is with all special needs schools. higher-ups don't understand challenges faced by teachers - e.g,, lack of manpower: keep admitting more students and increasing class size
