1. you learn like a entrepreneur in this organization 2. you get a good exposure 3. business is huge and a good size. 4. because of German board, management follows all their good practices and corporate culture. 5. a good respectable brand in Indian consumer hyper format.
Cons
1. while exiting the company you have to pay Full Salary which is the biggest pain for any employee for example if you are @ 12 lacs CTC and you serve an 1 month notice against required 3 months then you have to pay remaining 2 months full 2 lacs gross salary to metro for your exit before the last date of working in cheque OR RTGS, Ideally all companies only ask for basic salary to be paid in lieu of notice in India. 2. Increments are lowest in Retail Industry. 4% - 6% average. if you have outperformed around 8% 3. HR is only for managing payroll & recruitment. no empowerment given to HR. 4. No internal growth program / structure for employees. 5. no vision for employees for next role that they want to take. 6. Hiring is done on a biased basis maximum W*****t employees are hired and North Indians. 7. Internal growths and promotions are also given biased. 8. sales driven company NOT a people driven company. 9. lack of job security
