Pros
To get a door into the contractor world. Learned a lot about working with GS/Contractors and Military relationships. You will larned a lot about weapons, aircraft and safety. Knowing that somone else's life depends on the data that you provide can be overwhelming however, with simulators and programs that are made to test your data a little of the pressure will be off of your shoulders. You will get paid on time, that is a positive, however reviews do not come when they should, along with annual raises. To get a raise you will have to be patient and a very very hard worker.
Cons
Lots of hard work, but the pay wasn't that good. Worked long hard days kicking out data/information for little pay. The title looked good on paper but not on the paycheck. I believe that many of the workers there are under paid considering the importance of the work that they do. Many of the other contractors that are on the project got paid almost double what the main contractor paid it's employess. You will learn a lot and it may seem overwhelming, hopefully you will have a direct supervisor that is supportive and will assist you in learning the craft.
