Pros
I recently started working at M3D and have been having a blast. We are nearly ready to launch our second major product and everyone is starting to get excited. The culture pushes and values hands on prototyping over all else. The leadership really wants everyone to try things and bring ideas to the table. Flexible work hours (you can work any time of the day you want practically) Electrical prototype space Mechanical prototype space Cool people Production is co-located with engineering Free candy and fruit Great vision for future Significantly ramping up new product development Clean working space Leadership is extremely accessible
Cons
It is a small company about to launch a second product. Along with the excitement comes fear of failure. Sometimes fear drives changes and responses that cause friction. The leadership is working on this, so it will be a while before it gets resolved. High expectations for each person to perform at an extremely high level Not enough software folks 9 to 5 folks have a harder time fitting in on the engineering side
