Pros
You are forced to learn how to multitask, make decisions and fend for yourself. There is no support or feedback and when you ask any important questions you get no response. Forces you to learn quickly and think on your feet. The biggest pro is how much I appreciate my current and past employers after working here.
Cons
Complete disregard for the people who work in the company. It’s a boys club with the boys at the top completely unaware of what’s actually happening. There are bombs going off everywhere and they are oblivious to what’s happening. I’ve never seen such a disorganized company in all my years. It’s as if they are trying to sink it. All the good people have left or are leaving and the ones who remain are mainly jaded and have accepted their fate. I feel bad when I see new people get coaxed into the company. They always start with such energy and after a few months become Lyons group zombies.
