The kids are, by far, the best part of this job
Flexible schedules, within reason
Cons
NO COMMUNICATION from the LIU to their school sites!
No formal onboarding or training before setting you loose at your site
Very sparse clinical supervision (individual and group supervision happened only once a month)
Staff is constantly leaving and rotating - no stability
Management doesn't know up from down (no 2 supervisors will give you the same answer about a simple question)
BHT's are chronically overwhelmed by client needs vs. staffing levels
Obsessed with billable hours and min/maxing profits - to the detriment of their clientele (It doesn't feel like the children are the focus of their work).
Low Pay for a lot of stress
