      Pros

      You’re able to pick up extra hours when needed. They give out bonuses when they are short staff. They have an annual picnic which is pretty nice.

      Cons

      Poor customer service. A lot of the employees do not have empathy for the residents and it’s extremely sad to see how they are treated. Especially the dining staff. They are teenagers who don’t know how to provide any type of customer service to the elderly. It’s very unprofessional.

      Supportive and welcoming staff. Strong leadership. I am allowed to thrive in my job without micromanagement.

      Cons

      Lower pay than for-profit, but it is worth it for the mission-driven culture that pervades.

      easy and laid back, lenient.

      management iffy, raises rare and ppl annoying.
