The decisions made by the company are odd to say the least. When I worked there, we had a huge project that the company put a lot of time and effort into. The project was finished and was opened to select few customers as a trial. However, suddenly the company decided the project isn't important enough and through it into the bin. After almost 1.5 years of hard work and insane research.
Another case was with a different group related to sales. A new manager came in that was not part of that group, but was relatively successful in his field. However after talking to several employees it was clear the manager was more concentrated in pushing himself and the team, rather than improving the company goals. He was making a lot of noise around and eventually got to manage the whole group, purely on his connection to the higher management.
Which caused the people who poured their hearts out to leave the company after years.
