Pros
Seemingly trying hard to propagate a culture of trust, integrity, honesty and customer focus which is commendable. But when this is a strong focus, it must be a weakness. Acquisitions have been in the right spaces for growth and direction of IT industry.
Cons
Integrating acquisitions has been challenging, produced painful results of lost focus, diluted business interest and fueled inward self-preservation. Mid to higher (Director and above) of acquired Savvis Management repeatedly and often unconsciously make decisions based on self-preservation and unit's interest than company as a whole. Messages go out to empower management, putting customer "front and center" as focus of business decisions while decisions are self-preservation, short-sighted and short term cost conscious. Both product portfolios and sales force are struggling to decide where focus should be.
