I have over 5 years of experience working in this company, and during this time, I have seen many issues that need to be addressed. One major problem is the lack of respect towards employees from Karnataka. If the managers are from other states, they tend to form exclusive groups and follow a favoritism culture. They openly talk badly about Karnataka and its people, which is very unprofessional and disrespectful. Middle managers are not competent at all; they lack the skills and knowledge needed to lead effectively. Instead of promoting deserving employees based on their contributions, they promote those who simply follow orders or are friends with the higher-ups. This creates a toxic work environment and hampers the company's growth.
Most of the actual work is done by the employees, but the credit is always taken by reporting managers and senior directors who claim to have initiated everything alone. It feels like a cunning way to get promotions without real merit. The CEO should seriously consider the performance of middle managers in India. Many of them have been in the company for over 15 years but lack the necessary skills in AI and modern technologies. Even those with 10+ years of experience could do better without given proper training and opportunities. The company is struggling to adapt to AI and new digital trends, but instead of investing in innovation, it seems to be all show-off.
It's high time to lay off ineffective middle managers and focus on promoting talented new employees and promote them to see their potentials and who have hands-on experience in AI and modern skills.
Respect should also be shown to employees who have resigned, especially during their transition period, which is currently a terrible experience. Overall, the company needs a serious overhaul to move forward and create a healthy, respectful, and innovative work environment.
