Pros
Well known brands which have been successfully built by former owners GSK. Salaries are fairly good. Office is easy to get too.
Cons
What started out as a great company with lots of promise in 2014 has quickly gone down hill. Management ‘talk the talk’ about people focus but the reality is very different. People are treated appallingly and there is no care for wellbeing. Leadership skills are lacking and a lot of inadequately experienced individuals occupy senior roles. The only focus is on chasing the numbers, which is a big challenge since the introduction of the UK soft drink sugar tax. A very internally focussed business that wastes huge amounts of time justifying performance to internal stakeholders. LRS has lost all sight of it’s people, & it’s customers. Employees are given very little autonomy. By far the worst culture I have ever worked in, which is a common opinion. The turnover of staff is phenomenally high, and the main task on everyone’s to do list is to look externally for a new job. The vast majority of talented staff that came across from GSK have now left the business, and the talent bar has been considerably lowered with new appointments.
