It's a sales position. Glorified as marketing/recruiting/ whatever. They take people who are just coming from college and will show them a shiny diamond and then hand them a box of sand.
It's commission and door-to-door or B2B. Depends who you go to because you will see numerous companies like this out there. Detroit Business Consulting (believe now its Capital Michigan). Unless your not worried about money and can go a while while you try to play their games I wouldn't do it.
There are plenty of other opportunities for entry-level that don't have so much retention problems because they make promises they can't keep.
Don't expect to have much of a social life either. No, no, those friends you know. You won't have much time for them.
