Pros

Now that the old CRO is gone the VPs of Sales know who you are, who your family is, and genuinely care about your well-being. It creates a real culture for when things get tough you want to stick together and get through it.

Cons

Sales have been hard for years now. I don’t think it’s Lucid’s problem as much as it is a global problem. I don’t think product or leadership really knows where they want to go with the company which makes it hard to know what to sell or how to speak to the future. It seems like every year we try something new instead of committing to who we really are. Marketing literally just punishes our customers by reaching out to existing users instead of finding new buyers.

Pros

- Very strong mentorship program - Very nice people - Some VERY good engineers, PMs, and designers

Cons

- Pay isn't competitive outside of Utah (but hey, at least we're hiring) - Like most other companies at our size, your success and satisfaction largely depend on the team you're on - Sales and product/eng could probably be better aligned to inform product decisions - Like most other SAAS companies, we're investing A LOT into AI. This could bite us in the future (I personally think we're in a bubble, and the consequences of over-investing will be very painful once it bursts)
