Pros

100% Commissioned based. Flexible, experienced management, family-owned dealership. Great product lines, awesome employee events and community outreach and sponsorships to local grade school extracurricular teams. Donations to great local causes also. The owner and owners' family are truly good people, and they take great strides to make sure they give back to the local area. Very low turnover, lots of people in sales and service have been here from the start. Salespeople rarely leave, if they do, they tend to come back.

Cons

100% Commissioned based. Time at the dealership means time away from home and you can't sell a car at home. Long hours, frustrating customers, very wealthy area, so people like to shop around and care little about your time you spent with them. Lower than usual commission rates and bonus structure is tailored for the exceptional salespeople and not the team as a whole. Teamwork is preached but it's no practiced. Sales managers care little who sells what car as they get paid no matter what at the end of the day. Management at times doesn't seem to share the same beliefs as ownership in terms of fairness and charity. Constant demoralization of the sales team in meetings and being talked down to like some kind of idiot. Colleges are overly competitive and tend to play the political work game to gain favor, (using sports fantasy league trades to gain car deals from managers. ect.) Salespeople who leave to test other waters seem to show no loyalty get welcomed back with open arms. While actual loyalty and care toward the company seems to go completely unnoticed.
