The founder implemented a know all mentality where all company changes must go through him, his only experience being running two companies into the ground. They hired a CFO with a few years middle management experience in finance…..then the board made him the CEO. His key notes were around transparency, which he never touched the surface on and refused to engage with more than 5 staff members.
A couple detrimental elementary level financial mistakes were made to fund inventory. Now to cover up their mediocre mistakes, they axed 75% of the company in the past 10 months. No empathy, no severance, arguably the most inhuman approach to business I’ve seen in my 20+ year career.
I’m making this review to warn anyone looking at “open positions” here. The company will very likely dissolve or be sold for parts by this time next year. If you do take a position, expect to be cut within a few months with zero empathy.
