Pros
I'm speaking from the consulting side. Not from Rebus. - Overtime is available. 1.5* your hourly pay. (Your salary / 2080 is your hourly pay) - Depending on project/seniority there's plenty of opportunity to take leadership and grow - The work is incredibly rewarding so long as you get a good project with good customers - Your skills acquired make you insanely valuable in this industry if you decide to move on - There are some incredibly smart people who are very good teachers - Work from home 50% (every other day). - Very flexible about letting you leave early or step out during office hours. There is plenty of trust given so long as you do not abuse it. - Free lunch fridays & all the snacks you want - Get to put expenses on your own CC for points ;) - Yearly bonus based on company performance
Cons
- Some managers aren't fit to be managers. - Travel can sometimes be unfair due to bending over backwards for customers. Makes planning vacations hard. - Some very weak employees who seem unqualified - If you get a bad project you could be stuck on it for a long time with no chance to escape. - Bad customers can make your life hell with having to support them. - We are consultants. Everything we do is managed by time. You have to track your hours closely (it's the nature of the business though)
