Pros

You got to be mentally ill to be thinking this place has any PROS. It absolutely does not!

Cons

I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone unless you are in desperate in need for money. When you start working here, you're basically gonna feel like you're in jail. You have no freedom to do anything without your supervisor or lead constantly chasing after you to take the phone. And don't believe the no discrimination BS. I can tell you for sure that discrimination is a HUGE problem in here. There is no empathy from upper management to their employees. Let me tell you a example. I had a fever one day and went up to my supervisor telling him that I don't feel good and asked to leave early. He goes "ummm, there's actually a lot of calls in the queue right now" and he gave me this look as if I'm using that excuse to escape work. So I told him ok i will wait until the queue dies down then I will leave. Next thing I know when our queue died down, he changed me over to another queue for me to keep taking calls. I did not get out of work until 7 that night and skipped work the next day because I was so damn pissed. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!

Pros

Good Benefits, Decent Pay, Set Schedule, Paid holidays and PTO (Vacation/Sick time). Decent incentives. Opportunities for growth, They usually promote from within.

Cons

Extremely stressful at times. Inconsistent: You can ask 3 different people in leadership the same question and get 3 different answers. Corporate has very Unrealistic expectations regarding Call Handle Time and Quality Scores. Members (customers) can be extremely abusive to CSRs on a daily bases and nothing is done to protect CSRs from said abuse. You are not allowed to leave your desk unless you on break or lunch, with the expectation of 10 minutes of 'Personal Time' you can use to go to the bathroom. This job is Emotionally Draining. You spend all day talking to people who are in very difficult circumstances and they take it out on you. I do not recommend if you are sensitive or have mental health issues. They add responsibilities to your job without adding money to your salary: You are asked to do things out of your job description that you were not trained for. Very strict Attendance policies.
