Cons
Extremely stressful at times.
Inconsistent: You can ask 3 different people in leadership the same question and get 3 different answers.
Corporate has very Unrealistic expectations regarding Call Handle Time and Quality Scores.
Members (customers) can be extremely abusive to CSRs on a daily bases and nothing is done to protect CSRs from said abuse.
You are not allowed to leave your desk unless you on break or lunch, with the expectation of 10 minutes of 'Personal Time' you can use to go to the bathroom.
This job is Emotionally Draining. You spend all day talking to people who are in very difficult circumstances and they take it out on you. I do not recommend if you are sensitive or have mental health issues.
They add responsibilities to your job without adding money to your salary: You are asked to do things out of your job description that you were not trained for.
Very strict Attendance policies.
