Pros
LP has been making big shifts in how SEO content is produced. Instead of chasing word counts, we’re focused on strategy, quality, and impact for clients. Pay is increasing significantly and I will be earning more than at either of my last two agency jobs. AI is a tool here, not a replacement. I spend less time grinding out repetitive content and more time editing, improving, and creating strategy. Leadership has been upfront about the changes which will give those of us who stay clearer paths to grow. Lots of perks still: flexibility to WFH, generous time off, and a real sense of balance.
Cons
Change has been hard. Friends and coworkers have left, and it’s a different company than it was a few years ago. Not the place if you want to coast or just write articles all day without thinking about bigger-picture SEO.
