- If your working style is excelling at quietly working on your deliverables and working behind the curtains, you're going to have a hard time at this place and getting promoted. Be careful airing your concerns and grievances, because it will be used against you. I did it once and I was told by a leader that "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" which is absolute redacted because a leader's job is to advocate for your team. Your track record doesn't matter. Advice for new hires is to be a yes-man if you want to get promoted. Your track record won't matter. Deliverables that aren't shiny or flashy for management won't matter, even if they're impactful and send ripple effects to the Go to Market teams.
- Pay sucks
- 401k and ROTH matches are mediocre
- You will need to sell your mental health if you're not talkative or not a favorite but want to get promoted in this company
