Pros
Good benefits, training and professional development, corporate events. If you have a good manager then every opportunity is available to you and you are given help with your career path. You can be paid well if you push for it, or if your manager pushes for it on your behalf. Feels like a completely different company between different managers.
Cons
Again, the biggest factor is your direct manager. If you have a bad manager then you are simply out of luck. If you are good at your job they will overload you until you are no longer good at your job, and asking for help or a work/life balance makes you look like a complainer. HR is obviously not on the side of the employee, regardless of all the assistance they advertise and claim to offer.
