Pros
Working at Lloyd Pro Group as an Associate Agent you are the master of your own destiny. I am a highly motivated, very competitive sales person and love my job here. I do not feel micro-managed in any way. I am very sensitive to that behavior and have never felt that way. This is a real team environment and I really respect and like all of my co-workers and managers. For certain past employees who could not comprehend what it is like to be part of a team, I feel sorry for them. That person who posted such an inaccurate review was also always writing policies that did not adhere to underwriting guidelines or that were written improperly. A person who lacks the ability to learn and grow, and has no concept of how ignorant and rude they appear to others, should not be working for this company. I guess that is why that disgruntled employee was quickly "escorted from the building by upper management". No room for dishonest, selfish delusional workers at Lloyd Pro Group. Also, the management at Lloyd Pro Group gave this person so many chances to improve but she just couldn't see outside her narrow point of view. This is a family work environment. You really get out of this position what you put into it. I will make 50k this year with my combined salary and commission in this position and I am proud of my hard work. This is a lower salary, higher commission position, so if you are really a good sales person who can thrive in a team environment, this is the job for you. The benefits here are also excellent. Sixty percent of the health insurance cost is paid by the company for the lower deductible plan and one hundred percent is paid on the higher deductable plan. I love the health insurance and am so proud to be working for one of the few companies still helping employees pay their health insurance. If you are an over-confident, under-producing, excuse making, non-listening, delusional person who cares about nothing but themselves, this is not the company for you. So just move on and dont waste our money on training you and then having to fire you your inability to follow simple rules that a teenager could follow.
Cons
Sometimes employees that interview well get hired and turn out to be straight up crazy. It is sad how some people's negative energy can affect a sales floor. But those people usually get weeded out quickly, just like all sales environments.
