      Pros

      I really, really enjoy working at Little Bird. I work with smart, experienced people who are sophisticated in lots of different areas of HR -- from employee benefits, payroll, employee relations, HR software and lots more. I'm somewhat new to the HR space (3 years of experience in HR) so I'm learning quite a bit! Everyone on the team is so smart and willing to help out. It's really a great team and fun place to work. Most importantly, we are helping schools -- mainly charter schools -- in the important area of HR.

      Cons

      I love it here. But I am looking forward to us adding a few more teammates (which is in the works) because at times it gets super busy because we're growing so fast.

      Pros

      Small team. Very laid back atmosphere. Super nice boss. Our HR software is amazing! Everyone cares about the work and clients.

      Cons

      There's some uncertainty as to whether the company will add new investors or get acquired. Management is totally above-board with the team, so no one is nervous. But it would be great when a decision is finally made. Meanwhile, we continue to grow and add new clients.

      Pros

      I've worked here for nearly three years and am so glad I joined this awesome team of caring, funny, innovative, and supportive HR pros! They are literally a second family to me and make this so much more than 'just a job.' The HR we do is much more forward-thinking in terms of using technology to ease administrative burdens and the company invests in our professional development.
