Pros
People are amazing, that is an understatement, great friendly atmosphere. Little to no accountability when it comes to projects, tasks, or coming in to the office, makes the work day easy. Decent enough benefits for this industry. Bonus/incentives for salary staff can be great when they hit their metrics. Flexible schedule. Free dressing.
Cons
Company does not value getting any extra education, certifications, or training. Extemely slow to promote, and hostile when brought up. Most of the management is the embodiment of the Peter Principle. Rules for thee but not for me, "its been this way for the last 20 years, no need to change it" and "time in chair" mentality. Management has told us "we are all replaceable" which is true. They will just hire the next position at a higher job title and wage. Watch out for the 401k vesting schedule.... I can go on but don't want to make this longer than it already is.
