Pros
State of the art science, good reputation, fun, interesting scientific work. The pay is competitive, benefits are reasonable given the size of the company, and if you are at the right level, the job is much more exciting than others you could get with the same work experience
Cons
It seems like the only way to get ahead is to join the old boys club, joke around with the CEO, agree with everything the founder says. There is certainly favoritism, not always based on performance.
