Pros
The individual contributors are great and having a good direct manager can literally change your work life, especially right now. Fully distributed and always has been - no chance of a RTO order. They use Slack, not teams.
Cons
Private-equity backed C-suite newly installed in late spring has run the culture, teams, and product lines into the ground. Zero time to on ramp and learn for existing employees as they force people to stretch into new areas and roles. Zero development benefits. Actually, almost zero decent benefits. Feels like they are still offering the same benefits package they offered when they opened their doors 25 years ago. You won’t find any tech perks here like office stipends, snack boxes in the mail, equity, tuition reimbursement, L&D stipends, etc. No raises in awhile. Unclear company goals, especially as it relates to the other companies they own. Out of touch CEO.
