Pros
For a regional SME the remuneration package is OK. Car parking is good. A family business providing you're some ones cousin.
Cons
I'll start with the worst first, their IT systems. I appreciate that even for a small business IT hardware and software costs can easily spiral out of control, particularly when your needs are moderately diverse. However Lindum manage to nail these costs down far too tightly. If you're going to bother with IT it really needs to be: 1) reasonable up to date, 2) comparable and in some way compatable with your business associates 3) above all assist your employees and business as a whole in executing their duties. Lindum's IT fails in all these areas, to the extent that their customers, associates and supply chain regard it as a joke. Apparently run as a personal.project by the IT manager, this particular monkey is clearly in place to control cost, not service the needs of the operational sides of the business. Enough of IT, just why bother. Most businesses seek to empower their staff to a greater or lesser extent. Lindum shackle them to poorly defines roles. 1) no personal e.mail addresses 2) a woman who surreptitiously takes a register every day 3) endless but pointless meeting, that are more control orientated that objective focused.
