Pros
They are always so short on people, even if you're the worst employee as long as you show up half the time they'll never get rid of you.
Cons
All the upper management are terrible....they close fill plants and make huge changes without investing in getting new production and people first. All decisions come from above from suits who just demand things get done- and the local managers have virtually no authority. Their hiring process is ridiculous and the pay is too low. My location only seems to hire family and friends and that is always an issue. The company seems to genuinely hate drivers- trucks full of cameras and sensors, hateful safety people. Some locations are union, some aren't.... they act like they care about 'safety'....mostly through chocks and cones-unless it costs them money or they have to do something. The company is too big and the different divisions don't work together and there's lots of internal politics. This company only survives because the gas world only has a few major players....not a very competitive industry as far as I can tell.
