Pros
Cool technology if it had worked.
Cons
This company's product could have made it to market by 2008 if one of the very early loud mouthed employees had ineptly built test fixtures that poisoned every fuel cell they made during the first 5 years. During that time, all of their fuel cells failed after 5 minutes of operation. This happened entirely because the founders (one mostly) shielded their friends and treated everyone else with open disrespect. But that delay also sucked resources from the packaging & systems engineering. Had that very early employee never been hired (or been fired back in 2003 at the first sign of trouble), this company would have gotten it's product to market before 2008. The bad management also resulted in a lot of mission creep, so a lot of reinventing the wheel (e.g. reinventing aquarium pumps) happened unnecessarily for reasons analogous to Steve Jobs waste of resources at failing NeXT over things that didn't matter.
