The company was so focused on DEI that the actual work was placed on the back burner. They focused on only recruiting people of color and LGBTQ instead of hiring the people who were most qualified. The "people team" would send out memos titled "what's up with white people?" Juneteenth was a work holiday but not Easter. 🤷‍♀️ I guess their philosophy didn't work out because the business went bankrupt and closed.
