Pros

No pros that I can think of

Cons

Their hiring process is unethical. You are told that you get a 5k bonus and are misled into thinking that you do not have to pay it back. Afterwards, they send you their contract where it says in miniscule writing that if you don't stay employed there for 3 years! that you have to give a significant portion of the 5k bonus back to them. And since they led you to believe otherwise, you make the mistake of not reading the contract with a fine tooth comb and a good pair of reading glasses/binoculars. They promise so much, but do not deliver. At my time at this company, I wound up making around one-third of what I had been making at my previous job, and hardly made anything the 1st month (if it weren't for the 5k bonus) even though they promise to fill your schedule up with clients, which they didn't. I was led to believe that the insurance companies would pay me more per client than they did. And I was only assigned a few insurance companies that limited the clients that could be put on my schedule. You have to wait 3 months to start the job, since the company said that they were going to submit my credentials to the insurance companies in order to get the maximum amount of clients. That didn't even happen, so I'm not sure what the 3 months wait was for. And if you dont make a minimum amount of salary each month (they pay you via monthly), they will ramp it up. Say, you only get 1k for this month, they will say everyone should get, say 2k a month, so they will add 1k to that salary. But, you have to pay this back to them. So, it's like they're not giving you enough clients or enough eligible insurance of the clients, and you're making miniscule salary, so they realize this and give you extra salary, but it has to be paid back. So, they didnt deliver all that they promised, but they now have you owing them a lot of money , and having you locked into a 3 year contract with them without knowing this, or how horrible and unethical this job experience working for them will be! Do yourself a favor, and run for the hills!!! It's a shame that this compamy is a mental health organization and is so ruthless and immoral in their dealings with their future/current employees.

Pros

Incredible place to work to build experience, receive supervision while supporting a diverse client population. Extremely flexible hours, opportunity to either work from home or in office with administrative staff. Truly caring, intentional, experienced regional leaders that are open to feedback and value their employees.

Cons

Working in mental health in a publicly held corporation has its conflicts of interest. No paid vacation time for FT employees which is counterintuitive to the work we do as trauma informed providers. No paid training. Profitability and bottom-line results for shareholders should not be reason to think of long term needs and burnout potential of providers.
