Pros
The people I work with are talented, hard-working, passionate, and care about each other as people. We do fun, high quality, creative work. But then not only does it impact the thousands upon thousands of people who attend a Life.Church location, we get the most amazing stories from people around the world who use the resources, apps, curriculum, podcasts, graphics, and other spiritual growth materials for free. The generosity culture is truly amazing. What I'm most excited about though is that my kids grew up in this church and love Jesus, are engaged in serving and participating at church, and would consider working here at some point too. That's really saying something when they've grown up seeing behind the curtain.
Cons
Because of how passionate we are about directing our resources toward growth and our mission, don't expect the pay to be lavish or even comparable to other large churches. The best of the best work here because they want to be a part of this mission, not because they're going to get rich. You can support your family, but you're probably going to make more other places. If money, status, and notoriety are what you're after, do something else.
