It's extremely rewarding helping people to keep their pets with them. Most of the actual staff are great.

Management is ridiculous. Knowing how understaffed we are they are firing the best people because of computer problems or power outages. They pile on work that there is no way we can get done because we're on back to back calls. They call people out in public chat. It's demoralizing. It doesn't matter how well you do, you are always on the chopping block. Not to mention, the lowest pay in the business. Management is rarely in chat to answer questions, if you get it wrong because no one was there to help, your fault! I'm not even sure what management does all day. They set employees up to fail and then laugh when they fire them because they failed. It's generally just life sucking.
